Though she is not technically a human being, Manatee (also known as The 52MexicanManatee- depending on what polite circles you may dabble in) is just as much apart of the entourage as any of us. The Manatee has a sweet and supple heart, is quick to offer an incredible time, and happens to be one of my true loves… I had to put her up here because of all the fun she has afforded us through the years.. She welcomes any fresh faces of those willing to embark on a Sunday afternoon sail, or an illustrious dabble-fest under the city lights on a long summer evening… one contingency: be ready to dance your arse off…

I want to show off the entourage, so I have created a new category I am respectively calling ‘Our Entourage’ (makes sense). I hope it can better portray the colorful and eclectic people that bring so much light to my life and keep me on my toes. Today, Id like to start with Henry Reyes, known to the World as Don Henry Reyes de Pico. I have known Don Reyes for many years now, and I must say he is one of the toughest and smartest business men I know. He is the only guy I have ever met who I feel safe on any corner of the globe with, considering he always has some sort of strange East LA contraption for protection… I admire his adaptability: he grew up in East Los Angeles (but has since gone global) and can shift roles on a dime when necessary. He means business all the time. He runs a non-profit, a business and as a hobby together we have been exploring Central American regions in search of untouched manufactured goods for fair-trade importation (it would do some amazing things to the local economies of very poor communities)… And we have found some hidden gems (feel like investing, give me a call). On a leisure trip to Las Vegas a couple months we challenged Don Pico’s toughness with a taste of his own medicine: a shock (literally a million volts) from one of his awesomely strange East LA weapons: a BLAST-Knuckle (brass knuckle with built in tazer -yeah, we don’t mess around)… He took it like I expected and nothing less. He is the ultimate stud, and a man I have been taking lessons from for many years. I have no doubt he will one day be a US Senator.
